On 24th February Google Panda - The new search engine algorithm of Google completed it's one year of implementation.In the year 2011 Google made some changes in his algorithm and that is named as Google Panda . As per Wikipedia the machine learning algorithm was made by Navneet Panda.
What is the function of Google Panda?
To find out the best site and control the spamming Google has changed it's algorithm strategy. Google Panda slapped on so many content farms, who are copied content from other sites and implemented in their own blog. So many blogs and sites are there in the net who don't have their own single words but still they have a large number of content in their blog. Google trashed them. But the sites who have their own content they get good results due to Panda.
Previously Google was searching sites and blogs by their snippet updates. But the new Panda is concentrating only on fresh content. It is also care for the age of websites. They are appreciating the quality contents only.
